Very nice people were very friendly

I love this store for it's great chicken and fish from the deli. They also have great potato wedges I generally don't like potato wedges I buy, but these are made with real potatoes and are very good. The store itself is a little high priced, but very clean with a friendly staff. They also run very good sales on meat in bulk.

Standard small town grocery. They've got what you need so you won't starve but not a huge selection of items.

IGA is a sad excuse for a small town grocery store. The produce selection is not only abysmal, but often of poor quality and expensive. All of the frozen food is disgusting. I don't know what the problem is between the products being shipped and arriving in IGA's freezers, but all of the frozen products seem as though they've thawed and refrozen, leaving them at a subpar level of quality. On more than one occasion, I have walked through the aisles and found food far past it's expiration date, which should not remain on shelves if they are being stocked properly. In fact, I've seen molded beef jerky hanging on the aisle end caps. Additionally, most of the cashiers are brief and unprofessional. Almost every time I go to the checkout and there are two cashiers in lanes side by side, the cashiers are too busy gossiping to each other to even greet me, instead leaving me awkwardly standing in between them while they finish their conversation and I await my total. I've been to other IGA's, and in towns where they have to compete with other grocery stores, the overall quality of the stores seem to be better, so obviously they are aware of how to run a store. The Borowiak's know that they are the only grocery store within 15 miles, and they take advantage of this fact, forcing customers to exchange quality for convenience.

They have good deals every now and then. Prices are not that bad. The people are nice.
